Largest solar farm in Poland gets green light from the regulator

The Poznań branch of the Energy Regulatory Office has issued a license for the largest photovoltaic power plant in Poland. It is a 70 MW power plant in the Brudzew commune (Greater Poland Voivodeship), belonging to the ZE PAK group, controlled by billionaire Zygmunt Solorz.

The solar farm was built by a consortium of Esoleo and PAK Serwis for the ZE PAK group. It consists of over 155.5 thousand. photovoltaic modules with a capacity of 455 Wp each and takes about 100 ha. Until recently, it was an area used by the Adamów mine for opencast lignite mining.

As the ERO reminded on Twitter, this year the President of the Office issued 280 concessions for energy production in installations using solar radiation energy. The total installed capacity is approx. 740 MW.
