We are only hours away from the premiere of Dying Light 2 from Techland. The continuation of the production from 2015 will be the biggest premiere on the Polish gaming market this year.
Techland is the only one among producers of AAA games that has not yet joined the group of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Although Techland is not a listed company, we are writing about the premiere of the second part of Dying Light, because it will be the largest event in the Polish gaming industry this year. It is a production from the AAA segment, which is still not produced in Poland. Two big games from Polish companies debuted in the last 14 months, namely Cyberpunk by CD PROJEKT and Outriders by PCF Group.
Although some doubted that the release date would be met, Techland made it this time. On February 4, at night, players will be able to officially buy Dying Light 2, both for PC and for large consoles. The problem appeared with the Nintendo Switch device, where the debut will be delayed by a maximum of 6 months. However, coming back, people who pre-purchased the game can already download the production 48 hours before the premiere.
For several days now, Dying Light 2 has been ranked 1st on Steam’s Global Top Sellers and 2nd on Global Top Wishlist. The title’s intense marketing campaign has been going on for a long time. We know, for example, that it will take us 500 hours to complete the title 100%, one passage of the main plot is only 20 hours, and with side missions 80 hours. In addition, Techland has planned to support the title for the next 5 years, and in a few months the first DLC for the second part is to be released. There are also plans to release a version of the game on Nintendo Switch, which was also supposed to debut on February 4.
