Soon you will be able to buy something stronger and a drink from one company from Wadowice. Maspex (Kubuś, Tymbark, Lubella) took over from the Russian vodka company with Polish origin – Żubrówka, Soplica and Absolwent. The entire agreement will double the turnover of the Polish company, but the provisions have yet to be reviewed by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
The Maspex Group – the owner of brands such as Tymbark, Kubuś, Lubella and Łowicz – has signed a conditional agreement with Roust Corporation regarding the purchase agreement of a subsidiary CEDC. The agreement concerns the acquisition of the Żubrówka, Soplica, Absolwent and Bols vodka brands, writes Business Insider.
This means that classic Polish alcohol brands will be “repolonized”. Roust Corporation is a Russian company.
We are entering a completely new, but very interesting segment of the market and we are expanding our portfolio with more iconic Polish brands, including Żubrówka – the legendary Polish vodka – praised Krzysztof Pawiński, co-owner and president of Maspex.
