Elektrotim shares up 50% as revenues double on border-wall deal

Elektrotim expects that revenues from the contract worth PLN 270 million with the Border Guard for the implementation of the electronic barrier on the Polish-Belarusian border will be recorded in 2022. This means that in 2022 the company book revenues maybe even twice as high as in 2021, said Ariusz Bober, ceo.

"The agreement will be concluded in 2022. However, we are dependent on the availability of ready-made sections of the physical barrier," Bober sa.

Elektrotim will have 60 days to build the electronic barrier on the section where the physical barrier was constructed by other entities, and after the last ready section of the physical barrier is delivered - 90 days for its activation and parameterization.

Elektrotim announced yesterday that it had concluded a contract with the State Treasury - Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard for the design and construction of an electronic barrier along with accompanying infrastructure on the Polish-Belarusian border on the section of the Podlasie Border Guard Unit with a length of approx. 202 km. The contract value is PLN 270 million.

Elektrotim specializes in the performance of electrical installations and automation systems for construction and industry. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2007. In 2020, it had PLN 276.83 million of consolidated revenue.
