On February 28 2018, Vienna Insurance Group in Poland acquired a strategic stake in ITIS Sp. z o.o., a technology company specializing in the design and implementation of modern IT solutions dedicated to various areas of the insurance business.
ITIS has been cooperating with VIG since its launch in 2007 and during its activity, it created a number of IT solutions for clients and insurance intermediaries, valued on the market by their users. Currently, ITIS provides its services not only to Polish VIG companies, but also executes orders for companies from the Group from the Baltic states and Romania.
Samir Hamouda will be the President of the company until now, and on the part of VIG, the Management Board will be provided by Andrzej Zadrożny, currently a Member of the Management Board of Polisa-Życie TU SA VIG. The Supervisory Board of VIG will be composed of Management Board Members of Compensa and InterRisk, ie Rafał Mosionek and Martin Stenitzer.
