This is one of the largest transactions of wind farm acquisitions in Poland to date.
On September 3rd, TAURON Polska Energia S.A. concluded agreements for the acquisition of five wind farms located in the north of Poland with a total capacity of 180 MW belonging to the in.ventus group as well as acquisition of the receivables of Hamburg Commercial Bank AG from wind farm management companies.
The total value of the transaction amounts to EUR 137 million approximately. The farms were purchased through special purpose vehicles established for this purpose.

Supervision over the entire project was entrusted to Dr Karol Lasocki, Head of the Department of Innovative Energy DWF Poland, with the support of partners Maciej Jamka and Filip Urbaniak. DWF Poland also cooperated with the German office of K&L Gates LLP.
