Tauron Polska Energia has commissioned the Olszowa Main Supply Point in the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), the company said. The energy from this place will supply more than a dozen companies operating in the Economic Activity Zone of the Ujazd commune and the KSEZ and will enable their further development. The investment completed in 2019-2021 cost PLN 21 million.
The construction of the Olszów Main Supply Point is one of the largest energy investments in the Opolskie Voivodeship. The company spends about PLN 180 million annually on investments in the expansion and modernization of the power grid in this voivodeship, it was reported.
“The entire project was carried out in 2019-2021. Therefore, we conducted our investment activities at a very fast pace. The schedule of works on the construction of the 110 kV line supplying GPZ Olszowa was also extremely demanding, the construction site was handed over in March this year, and the final commissioning of the line was completed in July, ”added Robert Zasina, president of Tauron Dystrybucja.
