Tauron Polska Energia has acquired Polpower – the owner of the Majewo wind farm project. The first electricity will flow from it in June 2022.
The Majewo wind farm will be located in the Milejewo commune, in the Elbląg district. According to the plan, the construction of the investment will start in July, the press release said.
The project involves the commissioning of three wind turbines with a total capacity of 6 MW. The first energy produced by this farm will be fed into the grid in June 2022.

Last year, Tauron’s wind farms supplied approximately 970 GWh of electricity, which is 40 percent. increase in production compared to 2019.
In February, the company started construction of another wind farm with a capacity of 30 MW, located in the Piotrków Trybunalski poviat, in the Łódź voivodeship.
