PARP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs teams up to support SME’s international expansion

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have just signed an agreement on cooperation in the area of ​​supporting the internationalization of Polish entrepreneurs.

Marcin Czyża, acting President of PARP and Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State for Economic and Development Cooperation as well as African and Middle East Policy, on July 28 signed a cooperation agreement initiating cooperation between both institutions. The agreement is a response to the need to undertake joint and coordinated actions for the internationalization of Polish entrepreneurs and the promotion of Poland and its economy abroad.

The parties declare their willingness to use each other’s resources and potential to achieve this goal.

“We want to support Polish entrepreneurs in their development abroad, especially those from the SME sector. We plan joint activities in the field of export development, participation of Polish entrepreneurs in international projects in the area of ​​R&D and innovation, in foreign public procurement and procurement of international organizations, as well as
in projects financed by international organizations” – explains Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both institutions will closely cooperate, including in the scope of information exchange on the conducted research and evaluation and their results. The exchange will also cover prepared publications, organized trainings, webinars and conferences, economic missions and business meetings, competitions and calls for proposals aimed at supporting the internationalization of entrepreneurs.
