The STS Group generated over PLN 296 million of NGR (value of bets made by customers, less paid out winnings and gaming tax) in the first half of 2022 against almost PLN 296 million a year earlier, the company said. From January to June 2022, the value of bets placed by customers of the STS Group amounted to PLN 2.189 billion, compared to PLN 2.222 billion a year ago. President Mateusz Juroszek hopes that the attractive calendar of sports events (including the World Championships in Qatar) will allow for the development of even better operating indicators in the second half of the br.

“In the first half of this year, we achieved very good operating results. We slightly improved NGR - that is, the value of bets placed by customers, less winnings paid out and gaming tax - compared to the same period last year. It is worth noting that in 2021, the European Football Championship was played in this period. In the second half of this year, we hope that the very attractive calendar of sports events and the World Championships in Qatar will allow us to develop even better operating indicators, which will also positively translate into financial results, ”said Juroszek, quoted in the release.

In the second quarter of 2022, the number of active users amounted to 375 thousand. The Group recorded from April to June this year. 92 thousand new registrations, and the number of customers who made the first deposit was 66 thousand, it was also announced.
