The flagship product of StreamCards is a card game operating in the Twitch environment, the world’s most popular live streaming platform. The official premiere of the full version is planned for July.

StreamCards – a startup with venture building support from the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund – raised PLN 2 million in the seed round.
“StreamCards, a startup revolutionizing the interaction of viewers with esports broadcasts, is entering the market. The company has venture building support from the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund and has acquired over PLN 2 million from external investors, ”reads the release.

The flagship product of StreamCards is a card game operating in the Twitch environment, the world’s most popular live streaming platform. The game takes the form of the so-called Twitch extension, i.e. overlays for broadcasts of esports competitions, which is available immediately after turning on the tournament organizer’s stream and does not require any additional actions on the part of the viewer. StreamCards allows you to interact with the games you are watching live by playing cards related to the current events. Viewers compete directly with each other, receiving points for correctly predicting the events to come in the main game, according to the information.

StreamCards is currently in beta testing. The official premiere of the full version is planned for July.

The company was founded in the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder venture building ecosystem, which has in its portfolio such projects as GRID Esports (the company announced in April that it had obtained 10 million USD in funding from international investors), Gamivo (a trading platform for games and digital goods, which just debuted on NewConnect) or Skinwallet (owner of gaming skins trading platforms, also listed on NewConnect).
