The start-up SeedsBot - dealing with precision farming and breeding - closed the seed round in the amount of PLN 2 million, the company said. The main investor in this round is RND Investments, backed by Wrocław entrepreneurs Zbigniew Nowak and Radosław Piechnik. The investors also include Marek Zmysłowski - co-founder of SunRoof and Jumia.com. SeedsBot provides application-based technology that communicates with IoT devices for measuring the level of bulk materials in feed and industrial silos. It allows obtaining precise information on the filling of tanks - feed silos on farms in real time, it said. “We decided to invest in Seedsbot because there are experienced entrepreneurs behind the company who know their market very well. The startup, in turn, responds to the biggest challenges of the livestock industry that affect us all, ”said Radosław Piechnik, quoted in the release. The concept, which was created from the combination of specialist knowledge from the agri-livestock sector and multidimensional experience in the new technology industry, aims to revolutionize the market in Poland and in the world.
