Virgin Orbit’s LauncherOne rocket just completed its second successful mission, launching six satellites into orbit, including two Polish SatRevolution observation satellites.
“Today’s event confirms the growing role of the Polish space sector. This is an important moment for many Polish companies which, starting with dreams of conquering space, see real opportunities for its exploration – said the president of the Polish Space Agency (POLSA) Grzegorz Wrochna.
“We are the first Polish company that builds entire satellites in Poland, but more and more companies from Poland are active in the space industry, cooperating, for example, with the European Space Agency. This is an exciting time for our industry” – said the president of SatRevolution, Grzegorz Zwoliński.
As SatRevolution marketing director Bartosz Lanc said, the ambitions of the Wroclaw company go beyond imagining the Earth. In the future, it is planned, inter alia, sending satellites to Mars and the Moon.
