“The contract covers a wide range of joint initiatives, including research and development projects in the field of offshore wind energy, among others related to the possibility of coexistence of offshore wind farms and aquaculture. In practice, the contract covers, among others, technology transfer and commercialization of research results. , developing analyzes and innovations to optimize the use of maritime spaces, explained a spokeswoman for RWE Renewables.
She added that both entities will also cooperate in organizing scientific conferences and symposiums to transfer knowledge and experience, “while inspiring new scientific research that will contribute to the development of offshore wind energy in Poland and beyond.”
