The primary market is seeing a strong revival. Which companies will appear on the WSE in the coming months?
Today the market has announced that Vercom, a company from the listed R22 group, is getting ready to start an IPO. The debut will be related to the issue of new shares and the partial sale of securities by the current shareholders. The majority shareholder – R22 – does not intend to sell shares in the offer. Vercom’s prospectus was submitted to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in December 2020. Pekao Investment Banking acts as a global coordinator and co-bookkeeper, and mBank is a co-coordinator and co-book-runner. In turn, BM Pekao is a co-booker of the demand book and Haitong Bank – co-manager. Vercom is benefiting from the pandemic and the growing popularity of e-commerce. The company creates communication platforms in the cloud.
In recent months, the IPO market has seen a strong recovery, which has continued since Allegro’s public offering last year. Currently, there is an IPO of the biotechnology company Captor Therapeutics, and the KNF has seven newcomers’ prospectuses. We are talking here, among others about Canal + Polska, Emitel, Vercom, the Shoper group, Cavatina Holding and Big Cheese Studio. Onde, a subsidiary of the listed Erbud, also informed about the submission of the prospectus. Although in this case the debut is not a foregone conclusion – it is one of the options considered for raising capital.
In addition, the KNF also has prospectuses for companies already listed that are getting ready to issue shares (including Celon Pharma).
