The group has announced that its will invest over PLN 100 mln this year (with total investments in 2017 coming to PLN 60 mln). Over 2018 the company plans to open around 20 Bricomarché and Intermarché stores as well as petrol stations. This year the group plans is to formulate a new global marketing strategy, which should include omnichannel and multi-format sales. The Intermarché chain together with petrol stations recorded an increase in turnover of almost 6.4 pct year-on-year and ended 2017 with a turnover of PLN 5 bln. Also Bricomarché recorded it highest ever sales in Poland of PLN 2 bln up by 14.2 pct on the previous year. The chain has 14 new stores, which means that it is present in 148 locations across Poland.
