Quercus Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych (Quercus TFI) believes that the acquisition of Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion is “on the home straight” and declares its interest in potential acquisitions of more distributors, as well as fund companies, said President Sebastian Buczek.
“We evaluate the development potential of both the market and ours very positively. All the time, investment funds in Poland have a lot of space to scale up, so that some funds from deposits are redirected to this category of financial instruments. We would like to play a greater role in the future than we are right now. Currently, when it comes to capital market funds, we have a share of less than 2%. We are a medium-sized entity with ambitions to grow even more in the future. This purpose was served by the issue of shares, which we conducted at the turn of January and February this year. ” – said Buczek during the online press conference.
In January this year the company issued 5.5 million series D shares at PLN 4.2 each, the funds of which are to be used mainly for the acquisition of the largest independent distributor of investment funds in Poland – Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion Sp. z o.o.
