Woodpecker to raise 2.5 million euro via IPO, on back of AI-sales assistant.

Woodpecker.co is growing fast. The solutions of the Wrocław startup are used by over 3,000 companies in 70 countries. Almost half of their clients come from the USA.


In the coming weeks, Woodpecker.co wants to conduct a public offering of shares worth up to EUR 2.5 million, and at the turn of the second and third quarter to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Initially, NewConnect is in the spotlight, but at the turn of 2022 and 2023 it is going to move to the main trading floor.

The plans of the technological startup from Wrocław are impressive, because its innovative business is growing extremely dynamically. The company has developed an intelligent sales assistant that facilitates acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships by automating time-consuming processes related to business communication.

The smart application works like a full-time sales assistant: it helps you manage processes, sends personalized messages that give the impression of being written in person, and also reminds you of contact. Intelligent algorithms detect responses and assess whether a given person is interested in the offer, and as a result whether communication should be interrupted or continued. The developers of the application estimate that it saves about 20 hours of work per week.

The solutions of the Wrocław startup are used by, among others players such as TransferWise, Bolt and Gartner. From the very beginning, foreign expansion was the key (Polish companies account for about 10 percent of customers).

The Woodpecker.co company started its operations in 2015. It reached the break-even point in 2017, and in 2020 it recorded PLN 10 million in revenue and PLN 0.9 million in net profit.
