Surrounded by tacky souvenir shops, well maintained forest walking trails, and lovely beaches the original Dom Whisky (’House of Whisky’ in Polish) boasts a collection of over 2,000 whiskies, serving as the spiritual home for a brand that is at the forefront of Scotch whisky in Poland, the fastest growing whisky market in Europe.

Though he started with the Coctail Bar Max in 1998, founder Andrzej Kubiś took a big gamble when he established Dom Whisky next door 11 years later in 2009, against the advice of many around him. Now, Dom Whisky encompasses various bars and shops across Poland (with plans to open more), including what might be the bar with the largest whisky selection in the world in Warsaw (it’s a toss-up between Dom Whisky or the Artisan restaurant in Lanarkshire, Scotland).
