The Polish Ministry of Health announced that Poland would take part in a pilot vaccination certificate programme, starting from 1 June.
Andrusiewicz has said that the Ministry of Health submitted the necessary documentation on vaccination certificates, which was needed to approve Poland for the testing system, and also for the vaccination certificate system.
Poland announced their decision to partake in the project on Monday, now the government is awaiting the decision to proceed with testing, and ultimately, the programme itself.
A spokesman for the ministry said that testing is likely to begin on 21 or 25 May. According to Andrusiewicz, Poland will be ready to join the project outside the testing sphere on 1 June, but the date is not dependent on the Polish government.
Certificates confirming vaccination can be downloaded from the Patient’s online account, or a physical copy stamped by the government.
