New investments, new projects, new shared service centers. The coronavirus has not dampened the enthusiasm of foreign companies. Those who planned investments in Poland are not giving up. They will employ hundreds of people. Some have already started recruiting.
Although the situation on the labor market is still very uncertain, some interesting investments by foreign companies are being prepared in Poland this year. New players will enter the domestic labor market, and several of the current ones will increase employment due to new projects. The market of shared services centers will be particularly busy.
The latest ABSL report “Business Services Sector in Poland” shows that in 2019 business service centers created over 2500 jobs each month, with the sector’s share in GDP estimated at 3–3.5%. The systematic increase in the number of employees translated into the development of the office space market and thus Poland, offering 11 million sq m, is the largest market in Central and Eastern Europe.
