Point72, a global asset management company, opened its Warsaw office in 2020. It plans to hire 150 professionals this year with expertise in technology, finance, data management and operations. Over the next two years, the Warsaw office is to become the largest branch of the company outside the United States.
The company manages assets totaling over $ 20.2 billion, and employs over 1,650 employees in 12 offices around the world.
Rafael Lopez Espinosa, the managing director of Point72 in Poland, is responsible for the development of the Warsaw office. “We have already welcomed many specialists in the field of technology, finance, operations and data management, and we plan to continue recruiting throughout the year. We want to create world-class teams of experts that work together seamlessly and help to innovate and build the opportunities that the company needs to grow”, said Espinosa.
