Poczta Polska wins transport tender for coal, as it expands it logistics services

Poczta Polska has signed an agreement with Polska Grupa Górnicza (PGG) for the provision of road transport services of coal to recipients as part of the pallet delivery service, the company said.

The company’s offer turned out to be the most advantageous in the unlimited tender procedure conducted by PGG. The contract will be valid for 12 months.

Pursuant to the provisions of the agreement, Poczta Polska will handle the logistics of packaged ecological coal fuels – eco-pea coal: “Karlik”, “Pieklorz” and “Retopal”. Loading takes place in two locations: in KWK ROW Ruch Chwałowice – eco-pea coal “Pieklorz” and at the Ekopaliwa Production Plant in Wola – eco-peas “Karlik” and “Retopal”.

“The development of logistics services is a strategic goal of Poczta Polska. As the largest logistics company in the country, we have the potential to offer our clients both domestic and international transport. The postal pallet shipment is used, among others, by international concerns, Polish companies owned by the State Treasury and family businesses, ”said Andrzej Bodziony, vice president of Poczta Polska, quoted in the press release.
