A total of PLN 800 million is to go to companies that will invest in the construction of charging stations for electric cars. These are the assumptions of the new program that the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management intends to launch within a few weeks. – Fast charging stations will be preferred, outside urban and large-city areas – emphasizes Artur Lorkowski, deputy president of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. It will be another form of support for electromobility in Poland. Companies will soon join the “My Electric” program.
Co-financing of investments in charging infrastructure for electric cars is to promote zero-emission transport and eliminate the emission of noise and harmful dust, especially in cities. In addition, the transformation of the energy system will, according to the assumptions of the government, make the electricity that goes to electric vehicles increasingly “green”.
“We want to launch the support program for the construction of chargers in the coming weeks, after the completion of arrangements with the European Commission on the conditions for granting state aid. PLN 800 million will be allocated to entrepreneurs who want to invest in the construction of charging stations. This is a priority program because the network of fast charging stations is the starting point for the dissemination of electromobility in Poland, especially outside urban and metropolitan areas” – notes Artur Lorkowski in an interview with Newseria Biznes agency.
