PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny and Enervigo signed a cooperation agreement in the development and promotion of gas installations for generating electricity, heat and cooling, PGNiG reported. The conclusion of the contract results from the growing market interest in such solutions as cogeneration or trigeneration powered by gaseous fuel. The pilot cooperation is to last until 2024.
“Polish companies are actively looking for solutions to reduce operating costs. Own cogeneration in aggregates powered by natural gas allows enterprises to achieve goals related not only to care for the natural environment, but also to improvement of energy efficiency, ”said Arkadiusz Sekściński, Vice President of PGNiG for Development, quoted in the release.
The Mielec-based Enervigo company deals with, inter alia, design and construction of highly efficient gas installations for generating electricity, heat and cooling. It has its own construction department and production infrastructure located in the Special Economic Zone EURO PARK Mielec.
