The Supervisory Board of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna has concluded the competition for the position of the company’s president. On August 9, Andrzej Legeżyński, director of the Bełchatów Power Plant, became the new head of the energy concern. The current president, who resigned, became vice president.
The current composition of the PGE GiEK management board: Andrzej Legeżyński – president of the management board; Krzysztof Kuśmierowski – Vice-President of the Management Board for Operations and Transformation; Zbigniew Fałek – vice-president of the management board for investments and ICT; Zbigniew Kasztelewicz – vice-president of the management board for mining; Andrzej Kopertowski – vice-president of the board.
On June 30, the Supervisory Board recalled Wioletta Czermiel-Grzybowska from the position of the President of the Management Board of PGE GiEK. Krzysztof Kuśmierowski was then elected the new president, but in July, after less than a month, he resigned.
