Warehouse developer P3 has started the construction of the second part of warehouse number 17 in its P3 Błonie park outside Warsaw, which will have an area of more than 21,380 sqm.
The new space will be occupied by home furnishings retailer Homla, which sells its products both in shops and online. It will use it as its central warehouse.
At the same time, the developer is finishing the construction of the first phase of the same building, with an area of 17,600 sqm, which will soon be occupied by 123 Łazienka – one of the largest online bathroom furnishings stores in Poland.
“The excellent location of the P3 Błonie park near Warsaw, as well as in the close vicinity of roads which enable quick access to other parts of Poland, makes it a popular choice not only for logistics operators but also for companies from other sectors. This is yet another agreement with representatives of the interior design segment that we have concluded this year. Statistics show that in 2019, revenues in the home decor segment in Poland amounted to around USD 535 mln and the market value is expected to almost double by 2024. These increases are many times higher than elsewhere in Europe, proving that it this market segment is undergoing dynamic growth, which is being further supported by the development of e-commerce.” said Zbigniew Smyczyński, the senior leasing manager of P3 Logistic Parks in Poland.
The general contractor for this project, which is scheduled for completion in Q1 2022, is Kajima Poland. It is to be BREEAM certified at the ‘Very Good’ level.
