Maspex Group has finalizes the acquisition of CEDC International Sp. z. o. o. and its subsidiary B2B Wine & Spirits Sp. z. o. o.

Maspex took over CEDC, finally finalizing the transaction carried out from the end of 2021. Thus, well-known domestic and foreign alcohol brands become the property of the Polish company. Equally important: they will cease to be owned by a Russian company. Maspex representatives (Krzysztof Pawinski) delivered this happy news on Friday, February 25 in the afternoon.

CEO of the Maxpex says that the Polish company's offer was joined by the leading brands of the vodka market - Żubrówka (a legendary Polish brand with almost 500 years of tradition, volume No. 3 on the global vodka market, present on 86 markets), Soplica (world No. 8), Absolwent and Bols. Maspex has also become a distributor of, among others Carlo Rossi, Barefoot and Gancia wines and colored spirits: Grant's, Glenfiddich and Tullamore D.E.W., Metaxa, Jȁgermeister, Cointreau, Campari, Aperol, or Remy Martin.

As part of the organizational structure of the Group, another business unit will be created - Business Unit Spirits, which will maintain its business independence and will concentrate all functions necessary for its business, including commercial, marketing and production. The construction of a new business will be based on the competences of the company's employees, modern production facilities and unique brands

Work on the acquisition of CEDC was carried out from November 2021. Only now, however, the Polish company replaced the management board and took operational control over the company. From a purely business point of view, for Maspex it means the possibility of expanding its offer and creating the largest food group in Poland with a turnover exceeding PLN 11 billion.
