Lawrence David, a subsidiary of Wielton, received from Amazon UK Services confirmation of orders for delivery by the end of 2022 of several hundred box-type trailers to the British market for an estimated approx. GBP 22.2 million.
“The orders placed now are significantly different from those placed so far and are currently the order with the largest unit volume for the Wielton Group. All chassis used by Lawrence David for production are manufactured in Poland as part of internal cooperation within the Wielton Group, therefore the order is of a group nature and will affect the financial results of the group and the issuer itself.”
The orders were placed under a framework agreement concluded in 2018 for an indefinite period.
Wielton is the largest producer and seller of semi-trailers and trailers in Poland, and one of the leading players in this sector in Europe. The company debuted on the WSE in 2007. Consolidated revenues reached PLN 1.82 billion in 2020.
