Kwidzyn to get Metro for Christmas

POLAND In Q4 of this year, Metropolitan Investment will start the construction of Galeria Metro Kwidzyn, the largest shopping and entertainment building in this town.

The mall will be built at one of the main junctions of the city, at the junction of ul. Toruńska and ul. Południowa. The project envisages the construction of almost 13,000 sqm of GLA with app. 35 stores, service and food outlets as well as a grocery market. There will also be the first multi-screen cinema in the region and around 350 parking spaces. The facility is 50 pct leased already.

“A fitness club and a large children’s zone will also operate in the the Galeria Kwidzyn shopping centre,” adds Karol Piszcz, the spokesman for Metropolitan Investment.

The building will be almost twice as large as the shopping centre already operating in the town. The new project is located close to residential estates, the Kwidzyń Sports and Recreation Centre and the Special Economic Zone. The mall is within a 5 minute-drive for more than 23,000 people. The planned date of putting the project into operation is the end of 2019 and early 2020. The leasing is carried out by the Metropolitan Investment team in cooperation with Mallson Polska.
