Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) upholds the plan to start mining at the Jastrzębie-Bzie mine by the end of this year, said Stanisław Prusek, acting president.
“We have such plans and I can say that the first extracted ton will leave the Jastrzębie-Bzie mine by the end of this year,” Prusek said during the conference call.
JSW previously announced that the mine’s target annual output will be around 2 million tonnes.
