A new production plant will be built in Świdnica. The Italian company Almes Poland based in Wrocław bought a plot of 1 ha from the city for over a million zlotys.
Almes Poland has been present in Świdnica for 5 years and has a production plant at ul. Towarowa 28A, where it rents one hall from Invest Park Development Sp. z o.o. They produce small motors for household appliances for the needs of larger concerns such as Electrolux. The company employs a group of several dozen employees, mainly women.
- “I really appreciate Polish employees. Especially ladies for their accuracy, patience and commitment. The past 5 years of our presence in Świdnica have been a good time for the company, therefore we have decided to permanently locate our plant here. I can see how this city has changed in recent years, I have met many wonderful people here and I am delighted with it”, says Luigi Missaglia from Almes Poland Sp. z o.o.
The Italian investor plans to build a new factory at ul. Pogodna. Currently occupied spaces at ul. Towarowa are insufficient, so it was decided to build another plant, where electric fans are to be produced for, among others ovens. Thanks to the sale of the land for the investment, over a million zlotys will be transferred to the municipal treasury.
Plots at Pogodna were bought this year by two other investors: the Budownictwo Witold Jaskólski company, which plans to build an office building (its headquarters) there, and a hall for the needs of a construction company, as well as P.P.H.U. ŻURMET Marcin Żurakowski, with plans for the construction of a metal processing production plant.
