IT Card is a company operating in the ATM industry, but not only – it deals with payment terminals, card issuing, 3d Secure authorization, online payments and mobile applications. Last year, it processed and settled transactions for a total amount of almost PLN 200 billion.
Now, according to the press release, it will additionally issue cards for fintechs – Visa company has chosen IT Card as a partner for cooperation in the “Fintech in a box” program. The cooperation is the result of changes taking place on the market as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- The popularity and demand for digital payments and remote use of financial services have increased significantly due to the pandemic accelerating changes in consumer preferences. This means that many of our fintech partners are now looking for ways to quickly develop their offers in this area – says Adrian Kurowski, Visa director in Poland.
The IT Card Group participates in the Visa program as a licensed Principal Member for card issuing. In addition, it declares that it will provide companies with the opportunity to use the resources, experience and knowledge it has. Thanks to this, it will be possible to quickly implement the issuing and handling of cards tailored to the requirements of fintechs and their business idea.
