InPost paid approx. PLN 510 million in taxes in 2021

InPost paid approx. PLN 510 million in taxes to the Polish budget in 2021, the company said. In the last 4 years, it was over PLN 983 million.

“InPost and the entire Integer.pl Group, as part of its operations in Poland, have been paying taxes in Poland since the beginning of its existence and it will do so in the future, only in 2021, over half a billion zlotys were added to the budget. We have always scrupulously followed this rule and we know that we are one of the largest payers to the state budget among Polish companies, and certainly the largest payer among logistics companies operating in Poland. We not only care for our employees by paying PIT or ZUS, but we also transfer huge amounts as part of VAT – as much as PLN 418 million over the last 4 years. This money supports the maintenance of Polish schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other important needs of Poles. This is how we show our economic patriotism and I am sure that Poles appreciate it very much, ”said President Rafał Brzoska, quoted in the press release. InPost finalized the financial statements, confirming that in 2021 it added over PLN 510 million to the Polish budget in terms of taxes.

Over the last 4 years, the InPost Group has paid a total of over PLN 983 million in taxes. This amount includes CIT, PIT, ZUS and VAT – of which VAT alone amounted to PLN 418 million.

InPost is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange, but the Polish branch of the company has been paying all taxes to the Polish budget since its inception, it was underlined. InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce.
