IKEA has started the first test deliveries of dishes from IKEA restaurants in selected Polish cities. The offer will be available on the Glovo app, the company said. Deliveries also include products from a Swedish shop available in stationary stores.
“In line with our strategy, we want to be closer to our customers and enable them to shop at IKEA in a variety of ways, including the gastronomic offer. We are also constantly developing this offer, taking into account the different needs and expectations of customers. We are adding more veg and plant options to the menu at IKEA restaurants. They are tasty and environmentally friendly at the same time. In this way, we want to inspire you to make more healthy and balanced choices in your daily diet. The delivery option in our gastronomic offer is another step towards increasing the availability of healthy, affordable food for many people, ”said the national IKEA Food manager, IKEA Retail in Poland Mirosław Forycki.
In the first stage of cooperation, the supplies will be available to residents of Krakow, Katowice, Lublin and Poznań in selected zones, and in November, residents of selected districts of Warsaw will be able to take advantage of this option. Glovo couriers will deliver selected items available in the restaurant menu and the Swedish IKEA store.
