Hudson Global Resources appoints new Scottish business director and announce plans to create a specialist talent consulting business in Poland

Lee spent the last three years leading private Scottish recruitment business HRC Recruitment as commercial director.

He has been appointed to head up Hudson’s accountancy and finance, financial services, and HR business practices across Scotland.

The news comes after international recruitment business Morgan Philips Group acquired Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management operations in Europe.

Hudson has two offices in Scotland, in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Lee said: “I am extremely excited to join the team at what I consider to be Scotland’s leading professional services recruitment and talent consultancy business.

“With the Morgan Philips acquisition, this is a time of great excitement and opportunity within the business, and I am looking forward to bringing best-in-class talent management consulting and recruitment expertise to our client base.”

The Morgan Philips deal – which excludes Hudson’s Benelux operations – creates a combined talent solutions business with a turnover of 130 million euros (£113m) with 600 people in 22 countries.

Charles-Henri Dumon, founder and CEO of Morgan Philips, said: “Hudson is a leading recruitment business with a strong track record of supporting employers and professionals across Europe.

“It brings best-in-class talent management consulting expertise to our established network of international offices.

“Our combined business will be better placed to offer customers an integrated range of headhunting, permanent and temporary recruitment and talent advisory services.”

The acquired businesses will continue to trade for the time being as Hudson in the UK, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine. In France, Spain and Poland, the group will trade as Morgan Philips Hudson Executive Search.

Dumon also announced plans to create a specialist talent consulting business, Morgan Philips Hudson Talent Consulting, in the UK, France, Spain and Poland.

The new business will offer strategic talent consulting services to organisations going through transformation as well as leadership development, succession planning and executive coaching.

Dumon said: “By combining Hudson’s talent management expertise with Morgan Philip’s innovative high-tech recruitment approach we are able to offer organisations a wider range of relevant solutions to help them adapt and transform to the new world of work.”

The acquisition covers Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management operations in the UK, France, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine.
