The global Jokr platform for home food deliveries has been launched. The goods are delivered from special networks of municipal warehouses located in selected districts, thanks to which it is able to deliver orders to customers within 15 minutes. One of the first cities in which Jokr will start operating is Warsaw.
Jokr is already operating in several cities – in Mexico City (Mexico), Lima (Peru) and São Paolo (Brazil). There are plans for rapid expansion, incl. in New York (USA), Bogota (Colombia), as well as in other European and Latin American cities. Warsaw is also on the platform’s expansion map – the launch of the platform in the capital of Poland may take place in this quarter.
The Polish team is recruiting for the Warsaw branch. He is looking for, among others general manager. – In the coming months, we want to hire another dozen people – together with whom we will change the rules of the game in the field of instant online deliveries in Poland – says Piotr Lagowski, co-founder of Jokr.
A feature of the Jokr solution – based on data and technology analysis – is the ability to adjust the offer of individual local warehouses, the so-called “Darkstores”, to the needs of a specific local community. The platform analyzes purchase data on an ongoing basis, thanks to which the product offer becomes more and more tailored to the needs of consumers living in a given area.
Jokr was founded by Ralf Wenzl, a former board member of SoftBank and Delivery Hero and founder of Foodpanda, supported by an experienced management team.
