Grants of 62 million euro from Norwegian funds to support environment

PARP announces the results of the recruitment under the “Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation” program in two of the four competition schemes. As many as 78 projects will receive co-financing for the amount of almost EUR 50 million under the “Environmentally friendly technologies” scheme, and 12 projects for almost EUR 10 million under the scheme “Innovation in inland or marine waters”.

The aim of the program, conducted in cooperation with the donor’s representative, the agency Innovation Norway, is to improve the competitiveness of Polish small and medium-sized enterprises by supporting the development and implementation of innovative technologies, solutions, processes, products and services. The activities carried out in the program are also intended to strengthen cooperation between companies from Poland and Norway. Support is provided in three thematic areas: environmentally friendly technologies, innovations in the area of inland or marine waters, and technologies that improve the quality of life. In addition, a separate pool of funds has been provided for the implementation of projects in the above areas for companies whose owners / co-owners are women participating in the decision-making process in the enterprise.

The amount of co-financing in projects could be up to 70% eligible project costs. The proposed solutions had to be new, at least for the company that submitted the application. However, PARP encouraged to use the program also projects at a higher level of innovation, e.g. containing innovative solutions on the market scale.
