Shares of Getin Noble Bank, related to millionaire Leszek Czarnecki, gained on Wednesday after the publication of good quarterly results. The bank does not expect recapitalization before the end of 2021 and declares that the level of provisions for foreign currency loans is appropriate.
Getin Noble Bank’s quotations rose by almost 7% at the Wednesday session on the WSE, after the bank reported better-than-expected results for the third quarter. According to the report, the consolidated net profit amounted to PLN 11.2 million, while in the previous year the loss was PLN 69.8 million. The bank is associated with the millionaire Leszek Czarnecki, whose fortune – once one of the largest in the country – has shrunk considerably in recent years.
