The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has announced tenders for the construction of the S6 expressway from Sianów near Koszalin to Słupsk, the institution said. The new expressway with a total length of 46 km has been divided into two construction sections: Sianów – Sławno and Sławno – Słupsk.
“The tenders announced today are the last tenders for the S6 from Goleniów to Gdańsk. As a result, 62.2 km of the S6 are currently in the tender phase. Over 140 km are under construction. We plan to close the express connection between Szczecin and the Tri-City in 2025, ”said the head of GDDKiA, Tomasz Żuchowski.
Tenders include tasks related to the preparation of detailed designs and the implementation of construction works. In the submitted bids, in addition to the price (60%), the contract completion date (10%) and the duration of the warranty period (30%) will be assessed, e.g. for acoustic screens. The contractors will have 3 months to perform the tasks from the moment of signing the contract. GDDKiA is waiting for offers until October 13 this year.
