FBSerwis from the Budimex Group is finalizing work on an investment program that will focus on more advanced fuel and energy generation projects. President Artur Pielech expects the company to present it at the turn of 2022/2023. He also informed that the company's investment outlays this year are planned at over PLN 50 million. "When it comes to the waste business, the investment peak will take place in 2024-2027. We are literally at the end of a comprehensive investment program, so as to move the company from only waste processing, much more towards the production of raw materials and fuels, and perhaps also the production of energy from these fuels in our own installations. We have projects and locations, we still need to discuss it with the owner and perhaps at the turn of this and next year we will be able to show it to you, ”Pielech said during the press conference. He added that the company is also analyzing the expansion of activities to include hazardous waste and is very interested in PPP projects in the construction and management of municipal waste treatment installations. He also maintained that FBSerwis wanted to support itself with acquisitions in the waste business. FBSerwis is a company that is part of the Budimex Group, which performs contracts covering: waste management services, technical maintenance of buildings and industrial facilities, modernization of lighting infrastructure and ongoing maintenance of national roads, highways and internal roads of customers. Budimex has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995. Its strategic investor is the Spanish company Ferrovial. In 2021, it had PLN 7.91 billion in consolidated revenues. Source
