Farma Kazimierz has a contract with Polkomet for the sale of energy for 15 years

Kazimierz Biskupi Wind Farm, owned by PAK-Polska Czysta Energia (a subsidiary of ZE PAK), concluded a 15-year contract with Polkomtel for the sale of electricity for an estimated PLN 360 million, the company said.

"The contract for the sale of electricity (PPA contract) concerns the sale of electricity and guarantees of origin for energy produced by Farma Kazimierz. The total planned volume of electricity sales under the PPA Agreement applies to the entire volume produced in this period by Farma Kazimierz. The produced energy will be sold at a fixed price, indexed by the annual inflation rate. The total estimated sum of sales revenues under the PPA agreement over a period of 15 years will amount to approximately PLN 360 million, ”the release reads.

The production volume of Farm Kazimierz throughout the entire period of operation will depend mainly on the wind conditions and the degree of productivity of the installed equipment, added.

ZE PAK also informs that Farma Kazimierz concluded security documents in connection with the loan agreement signed with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on September 20, 2022.

"PAK-Polska Czysta Energia sp. Z o.o. a subsidiary of the company established a financial and registered pledge on behalf of BGK on all shares in the share capital of Farma Kazimierz along with a power of attorney to exercise corporate rights from such shares ”- it was also announced.

Farma Kazimierz is implementing a project to build a wind farm with a capacity of 17.5 MW in Kazimierz Biskupi. Since August 2021, the farm has been owned by PAK Polska Czysta Energia - a subsidiary of ZE PAK.

The ZE PAK Group operates in the area of ​​lignite mining, as well as the generation and sale of electricity and heat. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2012. Its consolidated revenues amounted to PLN 2.45 billion in 2021.
