A call for applications for co-financing the costs of introducing products or services to new foreign markets has started in the SME Internationalization competition organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Micro, small and medium-sized companies with headquarters or branches in the following voivodeships can apply for a grant for global expansion: A single enterprise can receive a maximum of 800,000 PLN.
The condition for applying for funding is that the company has at least one product or service with potential for internationalization on at least one new foreign market. The obtained money can be spent by the company to cover the costs of consulting services and other services related to the internationalization of activities or participation in international fairs, exhibitions or economic missions. However, the costs of acquiring fixed assets or intangible assets related to the preparation of an offer for the target foreign market may also be co-financed.
The company that obtains the support is obliged to start the project implementation within 6 months from the moment of submitting the application. The project itself cannot last longer than 2 years.
Entrepreneurs interested in obtaining funding to enter foreign markets with their products or services have until 27 May to submit an application. “Internationalization of SMEs” is a competition financed by European Funds under the Operational Program Eastern Poland.
