Escola, one of the leading companies creating mobile and web applications in Poland, has acquired Deal IT focused on the education sector and opened a new office in Kalisz. The company will become part of the Escola Capital Group. The current owners of Deal IT will join Escola’s structures. It is the fourth acquisition of Escola in recent months and already at this stage the company has achieved its development goal, which it communicated to investors during the public offering of shares.
“The merger of Deal IT – the leading education software provider in the region – with Escola was a natural step in the development of both companies. We owe the recommendation to Piotr Nowosielski, president of Just Join IT. I am convinced that the IT market will consolidate and that this is the next step on this path, as well as the fulfillment of the announcement made to our shareholders. The new branch in Kalisz will be managed by the current owners of Deal IT. We may make another takeover this year” – says Krzysztof Wojewodzic, president of Escola.
Deal IT has a strong brand in the area of solutions targeted at the education industry, the new office in Kalisz will be Escola’s fourth branch. The current owners of Deal IT will still be involved in the development of the branch – including Dr. Marek Dębczyński and Tomasz Mazek, who for many years have been involved in IT education in the region. The acquisition of Deal IT is also intended to help Escola attract new developers and promising graduates. In the coming year, the company wants to enlarge the team to 20 people.
