Sports broadcaster Eleven Sports announced Thursday it will sublicense the Formula One motor racing championship in Poland to pay-television broadcaster Polsat and public-service broadcaster TVP from this season.
Eleven has said it will sublicense F1 highlights rights to pay-television broadcaster Polsat and “abridged live race programmes” to public-service broadcaster TVP beginning this season. It currently holds F1 rights in 2019 as part of a renegotiated deal with Formula One Management.
The announcement came as Eleven confirmed a new three-year deal for F1 rights in Poland, which will run from 2020 to 2022. SportBusiness Media reported on the deal on Wednesday.
The new agreement with FOM also includes rights to the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championship and the Porsche Supercup Series, which will run from 2019 to 2022. It will also be available on Polsat.
