Echo Investment to construct 100,000 Sq.m office space in 4 major cities

POLAND Echo Investment is planning to start the construction of 100,000 sqm of office space this year in Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź and Kraków and is already planning the development of a further 150,000 sqm.

“In 2018, we started the construction of four projects with a total area of 93,000 sqm in Warsaw and Katowice. We leased a total of nearly 80,000 sqm, and leased space to such outstanding tenants as L’Oreal, WeWork, EPAM, Havas and Inter Cars. We also sold three office buildings for a total of EUR 115 mln,” says Rafał Mazurczak, a board member of Echo Investment responsible for the office department.

This year, the developer is to continue with its strategy of creating destination places, including work space, living space and retail.

“The flagship destination projects are Browary Warszawskie in Wola consisting of 110 000 sqm of mixed use space and our office-residential complex Moje Miejsce in Mokotów. Echo also has such projects in the pipeline in both Łódź or Kraków and we are actively looking for addition locations in all the regional cities where we are active. Echo is one of the leading office developers in Poland with five ongoing projects today and another six in the pipeline. 2019 is going to be busy for us as we plan to start construction of around 100,000 sqm of office space including in Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź and Kraków. We will deliver the first stage of our Moje Miejsce project in Warsaw and the first stage of our Face2Face Business Campus in Katowice. We are also counting on working with tenants that are just as prestigious as last year” adds Rafał Mazurczak.
