Cersanit is negotiating the sale of all assets in Russia

Cersanit - a manufacturer of ceramic tiles and bathroom fittings owned by Michał Solowow - plans to sell all assets in Russia, including three production plants and a trading organization, the company said.

"For over three weeks, the owner and management of Cersanit S.A. are negotiating the sale of all of the company's assets in Russia. Negotiations are conducted with investors from China, the United Arab Emirates and Turkey. The assets sold mainly consist of three large production plants in Frianów, Kuczino, Syzranie and a trade organization, ”said the president of Cersanit, Mariuisz Sośnierz, quoted in the release.

The company indicated that in these circumstances, the sale of assets in Russia (in which Cersanit has been present since 1998) is the only categorical and final step it can take "so as not to be wrongly accused of any involvement in the conflict or even indirect support of it".

We focus our efforts primarily on providing multifaceted assistance to the employees of our plants in Ukraine and their families, ensuring them safety and conditions for surviving difficult times. Cersanit is a capital group owned by Michał Sołowow, operating on the international market of ceramic tiles and comprehensive bathroom equipment. It has four plants in Poland, three in Russia and one each in Ukraine, Romania and Germany.
