Carlson ASI Evig Alfa invested PLN 3 million in three startups and plans 13 more

Carlson ASI Evig Alfa - a venture capital fund from the Carlson group - has invested PLN 3 million in three new startups: React, Autonomy Now and Digital Twins Company, the fund said. Thus, the fund currently has 27 projects in its portfolio. By the end of 2022, the fund plans to implement at least 13 new investments.

“We are consistently implementing our investment plans for this year. The following startups have joined the group of our portfolio companies: React (a project of an unmanned aerial vehicle integrated with portable ground terminals), Autonomy Now (an ADAS system dedicated to city buses meeting the first level of autonomy) and Digital Twins Company (a tool for building 3D models of interior spaces on database of spherical photos) "- said managing partner Carlson ASI Evig Alfa Dawid Wesołowski, quoted in the press release.

This year, Carlson ASI Evig Alfa plans to invest in at least 13 new projects. The most important criterion is that the startup should be at an early stage of development (pre-seed phase / R&D project in the PoC and PoP phase), conduct research and development activities in Poland and develop innovative technological solutions that solve real problems and have the potential to commercialization and rapid scaling were also emphasized.

Currently, the Carlson ASI Evig Alfa portfolio includes 27 projects from such industries as: medtech, AI, and IoT. The fund is one of the most active domestic VCs in Poland. In 2021, he completed 9 new investments.
