Bank Ochrony Środowiska (BOŚ) has signed the first contracts with leasing companies: Arval Service Lease Polska, LeasePlan Fleet Management (Poland) and Volkswagen Financial Services, as part of the “My Electrician” program, the bank said.
As part of the leasing path of the Priority Program of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) “My electrician”, BOŚ grants companies and institutions subsidies to the costs of leasing brand new passenger and delivery vehicles. These subsidies are expected to accelerate the transformation of transport towards zero emissions, it said.
On the basis of an agreement concluded with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, BOŚ invited leasing companies to cooperate in the implementation of the program. Recruitment of lessors is conducted on a continuous basis – interested companies can join the program at any time.
“The aim of the ‘My Electrician’ program is to avoid air pollutant emissions by co-financing projects aimed at reducing the consumption of emission fuels in transport and supporting the purchase or leasing of zero-emission vehicles. Our bank’s involvement in this environmentally friendly project presents a proactive approach to the issue of sustainable development. We are glad that we will join this goal in cooperation with Arval Service Lease Polska sp.z o.o., Volkswagen Financial Services sp.z o.o. and LeasePlan Fleet Management (Polska) sp.z o.o. We will sign the next cooperation agreements in November, ”said the president of BOŚ, Wojciech Hann.
