Boryszew will invest PLN 180 million in two automated production lines

Boryszew plans to put into service two new, automated production lines at the Maflow Group plants in Toruń and Mexico at the turn of 2022 and 2023, at a total cost of approximately PLN 180 million, President Wojciech Kowalczyk informed ISBnews.

"Thanks to them, we will be the only supplier of air conditioning hoses for the world's leading manufacturer of electric cars in both locations," Kowalczyk said in an interview with ISBnews.

In his opinion, the movement in the electric car business is huge, and those who are prepared for it will win.

"I hope that already in 2023 these two new lines will bring us a significant increase in EBITDA in the automotive industry, moreover, I expect a significant rebound in this segment" - added the president.

As he emphasized, Boryszew assumes that, structurally, in the coming years, a significantly greater production of cars and the creation of new electric car factories should be expected, which means new business and new nominations for the Automotive segment.
